Hello there, I'm Katara! I'm from the southern water tribe, but I've been everywhere else. I was the first one to find Aang, the avatar, and traveled with him as he sought to master the elements and bring peace to the world. He succeeded, and I'm proud to now call him my boyfriend! I'm also good friends with Toph. Suki, Zuko, and my brother Sokka and I actually get along. (Most of the time, anyway). Now? I'm helping Aang in any way I can while he restores harmony with Fire Lord Zuko.

Sokka looked up to the tower, it wasn’t very practical to have everyone be in the same place. “Ok, Suki and I will go up to the tower and keep a lookout. Toph, you can go with Katara and check the ground. I figured you wouldn’t want to be up in the air.” He smiled a bit, proud that he remembered her dislike of heights. As she passed, he murmured to her “Also, keep an eye on Mister Freedom, will ya? Even if he’s not out to get the team, I don’t like the way he’s eyeing Katara.” (Toph, I gotchoo gurl)
“You got it boss!” Toph could tell the tower was made of wood, she couldn’t see if she was up in the tower…..well at least not like she could see on the ground. When Sokka bent down to give her secret instructions she just smiled and gave him a thumbs up. She loved it when she had a job to do, the sneakier the better. It made her feel like she did before Aang defeated Ozai.
“I think I can see twinkle-toes and Lord smiles-a-lot by the beach anyway…….at least it feels like them. Come on Katara, I’m sure being apart from your airbending boyfriend has been killing you.” Toph laughed as she lead the group of three towards the sea.

Katara opened her mouth to say something in response, but closed it instead, shaking her head and not even bothering to keep the smile off of her face.
“Just like you miss Sokka?” Katara whispered in the girl’s ear, careful that Jet wouldn’t hear. She had noticed Toph’s crush on her brother, and found it adorable, but knew Toph was too stubborn to admit it herself. Maybe she could tease it out of her…

Toph felt her cheeks start to burn, her like Sokka? That was such a stupid idea that only Katara could think of it. She was twelve, she didn’t need to think about stupid things like romance. It only made you weak and mushy, she didn’t need that. Besides he was just her friend! So what if he was a boy and she liked hanging out with him, isn’t that what friends do, hang? Even if she did like the meathead like that, he had……..Suki.
“I don’t know what your talking about.” She whispered back to the waterbender as her cheeks burned even hotter. “Besides, instead of coming up with stupid ideas like that, you should think about how your gonna keep Airhead from attacking Mr. goody goody back there. And I don’t think his problem will be quite the same as Sokka’s, though I can tell he’s not happy about it either.” She was of course referring to the way the freedom fighter was constantly flirting with her. Toph didn’t know if Katara was just oblivious, or if she liked the attention. Either way, she preferred Aangs means of wooing over this creeps, something just didn’t feel right about it.

Katara dropped the subject, knowing, again, Toph was too stubborn to admit it to both Katara, and herself. She thought about the way Aang reacted when she had first told him Jet had dropped by. The cold edge he sometimes got in his voice when he was angry had been there, his grey eyes darkening to the color of storm clouds.
So how would he react when he saw Katara and Toph walking with Jet? And he did have that flirtatious nature, especially with Katara. Aang had a tendency to get a little jealous…
Well, this would be fun. She looked up and saw two figures walking, and knew it was Zuko and Aang. They were too far away to see Katara and the others, and they were deep in conversation. She turned to Jet.
“Jet. If you do anything to anger either of them, I will kick you to the moon. You understand? They’re under enough pressure, and they don’t need your smart mouth to provoke them further.”

Suki slightly pouted. She still wanted to know what the heck happened with Sokka and Jet, but she supposed this wasn’t the time to ask.
She shrugged. “I don’t know, I haven’t really talked to him since you guys arrived here,” she said, looking around as if she were going to see him. She had to admit she was curious about that as well.

“He went with Aang somewhere.” She looked around like Suki did, half hoping to see the two so they wouldn’t have to roam around and look. If only there were a way to contact them…
“Let’s just go back into town and see if we can find them there. They can’t go out walking forever, so they need to come back eventually.” She sighed, wishing they were talking about planning a vacation rather than taking down another villain. And this guy sounded dangerous and hard to deal with. “Is there somewhere we can cover every entrance into town? So we don’t miss them?”
(Suki)
“Uh, oh yeah! There’s an old tower in the middle of town, and you can see the entire place from up there!” she said, though immediately after she said that she realized that wasn’t too hard. “We could look for them from up there.”

Jet crossed his arms, glaring at Sokka as he exited, “Fine, I have nothing to hide, directing his attention to Toph. He looked at the small blind girl, remembering their last meeting. Not only did he play dirty, he was on the wrong side. Jet cleared his throat, “Nice seeing you again… Really.” He frowned, knowing he had to be sincere with this girl. Jet couldn’t muster up an apology, admitting he had indeed been on the wrong side. (toph)
Toph had finished her mud bath and decided to take a walk around the island. She had never been anywhere like it before. It was small, and so far she hadn’t met many people, though she was a complete stranger. Maybe the rest of the villagers were chasing after Aang, Sokka had told her about the last time they were here.
After a while of walking alone she heard some familiar voices.
“We should go find Aang and Zuko and talk this out with the two of them. It’s their opinions that really matter, anyway.”
“Them, and Toph too. She could tell us if Mr. Pretty Boy is telling the truth or not. C’mon Suki, maybe we can get a minute together before everyone goes to war again!……..Well, let’s go!”
She moved towards the voices of her friends and when she managed to catch up she noticed they had found other company. Her arrival had also not gone unnoticed.“Nice seeing you again… Really.”
”Honestly I can’t say the same to you, no seeing and all. But as long as you keep you knife, sword, things put away everything will be fine.” She gave him a punch to the arm, she didn’t know if he had joined them or not but she could tell he regretted their last engagement.
(Jet)
Jet quirked an eyebrow, that was easy. Easy as in no one attacked him, him having been in this position too many times. He rubbed his arm, mostly in confusion rather than in pain, “Right,” Jet chuckled. He through his fists to his hips, turning haughtily, “Well, Sokka, is that good enough for you?” Jet fully turned and faced the rest of the group, “So not that I’ve passed the test, and wasted more time, thanks to Sokka,” he nodded to Sokka, “We need to find Aang and the Pansylord.”

Katara turned to Sokka to give him a warning look. He probably had something waiting on the tip of his tongue, and the look on his face confirmed her suspicions.
“Jet, he’s the fire lord. Please, try NOT to aggrivate him? He’s got a temper I don’t think you’d want to be on the end of. “So both of you.” She turned to her brother and Jet. “No name calling, no sarcastic remarks. Let’s make this easy on all of us and figure out what’s going on. Okay?” She stared the two boys down, hoping he annoyance shone through in her eyes.

Sokka kept his mouth shut, not to humour his sister, but to show Jet that he was more of a man than the Freedom Fighter could ever hope to be. But the look he shot to Jet was one that screamed If you step out line, you’re toast. He broke their staring to look at Suki, as she had been thankfully quiet throughout the arguing. ”So where is Zuko anyway?” He hadn’t seen the brooding firebender since lunch.
Suki slightly pouted. She still wanted to know what the heck happened with Sokka and Jet, but she supposed this wasn’t the time to ask.
